The nurturing of the wrong concepts

When leaders forgot about others

Believing their kind should rise to the top

Whatever means to push them ahead

The culture of taking crept through

One whole generation grew

They screwed up their lives

Because of the political leaders

The good and smart ones

They migrated overseas

They knew of the wrong direction

A nation of many colors all should be equal

Who is to blame for a lost generation?

The current old leaders nurturing them

Now they feel regret of the loss of unity

The civil servants should work

They want it within their control and implementation

Sharing it will signal their downfall

Some get into power

They will refuse to adhere to party directions

They will try to sabotage in every opportunity

Until they get cornered with their own stupidity

We make our own reading

We write our pursuits

Even failures we have to accept

Accept failures and successes

It is the way we conducted ourselves

Pushing our limits hitting the right corners

Listening to the echo of our own poetry

Along the way we may turn crooks

Burning our hard work driving for short cuts

We think we can smell success quickly

It is our story the poetry of our short innings

Karma will drive in to say

Good or bad is our own doing

When we are down we shouldn't blame

nobody is perfect

 

The criticisms good in the ears

As long as one takes it to improve

Though many will may get annoyed

Hearing the negative comments

As a living soul walking on Earth

Nobody can escape the clutches of criticisms

We will know the truth

We aren't the perfect beings after all

Listen to the criticisms

It is better than listening to the 'yes men'

They paint the ground in glow

The truth is eating out underground

We should accept criticisms

Sometimes it isn't good to the ears

As long as we are open minded

We will enjoy living in our lives

They have to be clean in the white

As long as they have some black spots

The haunt dogs will start to sniff around

The owner can't take full criticisms

He is afraid he would be dumped

As such he will want a house full of 'yes men'

So he can feel he is in command

But he has forgotten his root

Once he was shooting at his top

Campaigns hard as the opposition leader

Now in power he has forgotten his supporters

One former minister

He isn't the 'yes man' on the side

He will clip it with his criticisms

Causing the haunt dogs to sniff for clues on him

This is the scene

A game of play suit a person fear

He should have turn his ears to the ground

It will make him a better leader instead

If they think to win the major seats

They are in for a shock

The wolves lost 2 general elections

At best the leaders don't learn their lessons

They still harp on MO1

The leaders should move away from him

The next general election

The wolf party will have to be realistic

They can't command the voters now

Because they are greedy and arrogant

The fire-crackers causing the poor dog to bark

Like crying for help

The kind that causing irritating vibration on the ears

Yet the old woman still ignores

Causing noise pollution around the houses

The dog across the street

He has a home but chained like prisoner

The rising tide in living

The petrol price on rising high

The government can't do much

The people have to bear with it

Every item will see price hike

Cause by the Middle East conflict

One energy cost on high

The people have to pay for costly goods

Even the haulage companies sound the hike

It is going to happen now

It has knock us down

Our pockets may get hollow fast

Better stay sober on the wheels

Do not try to defend

When accident happens

They are in the wrong

Even before they turn the car engines

In that kind of state

Driving will be dangerous

The police aren't giving way

Too many accidents on drunk driving

The recent car accident a victim was killed

The driver is charged with murder

This may shook up the drunk drivers

When they want to drink and get high

It is better to return home by taxis or hire drivers

Charging with murder isn't a good way to go
