People power
It is now or never will be
The youth of today
They want to be free
The restrictive laws
It hammers everybody in
You can't say what you think
You can't criticize an opinion
The enforcers want to impound
The laws on your life........
And we pay our taxes for them
Instead of protecting us we get chained
People power
It rears with positive results
Egypt, Tunisia, Iran now Bahrain
There must be something happening
Right here the leaders still harping on fear
Of their views and trying to pass new laws
And the old ones to amend to restrict us
Though some may have violated the Constitution
People power
In the ballot boxes to nail it all
It is now or never will be
Our rights our wealth our freedom
