We live in this world
All about power in our hands
What we can do in our times
We can strike it out on our own
But democracy takes it away
Giving it to the politicians to play
The kind of games they know it well
Power to play at their will
They can pass laws
Giving them the clout and bargain
They let the laws to cow us to submission
In the call of peace and harmony
But is it the truth?
The politicians want it all
The power to enrich their base
They don't think much of the voters
It is only in general election
The voters can play their power game
A day of power in their hands
In the name of democracy the voters will lose it
