the old and new kampar

Kampar town
Once it was a tin mining supply
Those were the years when tin was the king
Slowly when price went down
So was tin mining and dreams died

The traces of the old charms
It can be found in the outskirt of town
The touch of development still in its infancy
The way of lives of the village folks

In the old town
The old wooden houses of the tin mining era
All were pulled down last year
The coming of development for the old

Kampar town
Known for chicken biscuits
Wrapped curry bread chicken
The economy picking up paces

The new town
The action of the economic activities
The university and college
The population increase and economy

The lives of the Kampar folks
It will change through the years
The second chance to breathe life into it
Yet the old charms still haunt the surrounding
