Feel the pulse of the surrounding
Then put it down on papers

They should prepare the business plans
The cash flows and the covers targetted
The profit and loss statements and balance sheets
On top of the marketing strategies

On papers it will reflect the trends
The amount of monies to be invested
The years to sustain the business
Will it be a go or stop it there?

But then business is taking risk
Without the risks or business plans
The owners will not learn on calculated moves
A business needs a 3 years plan to see the viability of it

Some open for 6 months and close
What kind of a plan it is?
The owners hope to strike the lottery
Without it they pack up and run
