There shouldn't be anymore amendment
Through the years many done on it
Causing uproar by interested groups and politicians
The citizenship law in the Constitution
It was laid down by our founding fathers
This is their legacy for the nation and her people
It isn't for the politicians to play for own benefits
Renaissance man should listen to the ground
There is no need to execute an amendment
Butchering the Constitution isn't on the card
The citizenship lawyers must be consulted
As it stands today
Many have voice their dissatisfaction on it
Even the Bar Council too weighs on the amendment
Let the citizenship law stay on its foundation

Hear the grouses on the ground
Don't try to ignore the protests
Defer the Bill on citizenship amendment
