A snake in the garden
My furry cat watched it well
The snake couldn't crawl away
The furry cat kept it in view
When I came back at night
I saw the cat staring at something
Curious I walked over to find
It was a snake trying to wriggle its way out
The furry cat kept watch
I took a stick and terminated the snake
After a few tries as the snake wanted to get away
But the cat kept watch closely
Once I released a snake
I promised I would terminate it
If any snake species crawled in the garden
Today I kept my promise
