The poor in our eyes
We don't see of their plight
We see them as the little people
Because we don't get publicity helping them
The volunteers so eager to go
Overseas flight thinking they are great
Raining food and assistance to those in need
Back home they turn blind eyes
Even the prime minister will say
His 2R game to hit overseas
Back home in his back alleys
He doesn't see our plight
He could donate using public funds
He just wants his name be known in the world
This is the wrong approach
As charity should begin at home
So the poor in our eyes
Struggling to live as normal as they can
Allocated billions to a religious organization
It defeats the purpose of tax collection
