The smiling faces may not tell a thing
What forces dwell inside the brain?
We may think they are friendly
We can drop our guard and reciprocate

We will not know their motives
We should stand guard and stay firm
In the social parties
Many unknown persons invited to mingle
The free flow drinks and food
They call it business or celebration
But there may be drawbacks
Of unfriendly persons with ulterior motives
Nobody can see through their faces
Because they are polite and well-mannered
