God give God take
You can't hide; you can't prolong it
When the time arrives, you know the drill
Praying hard it will be too late

Some say “I pray so hard”
Yet the going rate still no change
God give God decide
We are put here
To study and learn process

We have our minds
The way the journey unfolds
Many may fall on the wayside
God know all about it

The strong and powerful
The weak and meek
The rich and poor
They share the familiar traits
We live on borrowed lives

Help one another
Any small way to make it better
It is no use praying
It is no use saying grace
When you don't do it
When you are called
You become the innocent bystander

God give God take

When you forget the small things
