Cloudy cloudy day
Life seems to floating by
Leaving me watching it goes
As life journey unfolds
Cloudy cloudy day
It never seems so yesterday
Bright rays of the sun
Burning skin hiding in the shades
The construction workers sweat
In the hot sun earning pay
What else they want to do?
They can't hide maybe with hats or head scarf
Cloudy cloudy day
In the sky never telling why
Maybe a storm somewhere else
I will never know

It cools the ground for a while
Before the rain coated it
Clear the footprints maybe start a new
