the fishermen

By Carlomagno_photos@photobucket.com

The fishermen sat
They threw nets into the sea
They saw herds of fishes
They thought they were in luck

They scooped up tons of it
They were singing with their voices
The muscles tightened pulling the loads
They didn't see the ripples gone wrong

“What I told you
I wasn't bluffing you guys
This is the place
Where net fishing is the game”

They stopped took out cigarettes
Puffing contently blowing smoke in the air
“How much we can get?
We will make a small fortune”

Then one guy stared unbelievable
“Look guys we are cooked!
Look at the gigantic waves
It's coming direct in our way!”

They scrambled quickly
Started the motors speeding away
The watery death waves came
It engulfed them splashing high and low

The voices of the fishermen
Screaming loudly in the watery grave
Nature anger had no mercy
The tidal waves swallowed everything

As the quiet calm spinning the sea
The dead bodies floating to the elements
There were so far out of the shore
The names would be spoken....

“What I told you
I wasn't bluffing you guys”
“Now look at us
The elements of nature”
