Threats and intimidation
It can go on for a while
The powerful regime says
The silent people obey
For a while the complacency
In years the sparks will brew
The small fires begin to glow
Then the final thrust to get free
When people realize it
Public funding indiscrimination flowing
When the voices of change gathered
The powerful can be dethroned
As history has recorded
The dictators and power crazy leaders
The overbearing pinning down regimes
They will get the sack by the people
Now the crazy leaders make the ultimatum
The creating of fear on the people's minds
It doesn't work any more to the people
Change is the way forward to claim our dignity
The people want fair and equal rights
To the wealth of the nation's prosperity
It shouldn't be on the select cronies
Using racial card to distort discontent
The changing is knocking on doors
Doors of the minds of the people
People have been waiting for it
It will happen in this century
