the house whispers

www.flickr.com

On the dark moonlit night
He stands alone smoking his cigarette
Blowing smoke up into the night sky
He feels confident to hunt the demons

The house on opposite road
People say they hear laughter and party at night
By the time they walk nearer to watch
There are lights but no sound or music or party

It is just a house with big compound
Left alone the family members all migrated
The man returns to find what's all about
Alone in the dark moonlit night

When his watch chimes past midnight
He switches on all the lights in the house
For a while he sees nothing on the walls
Then slowly he sees images appear......
The ghosts of his past walk forward

You can't keep us here
We have to go where you go
This is our rights which you promised
Now look at us; we are stucked in this house!”

It is for your own good
In this house you will stay alive
You can't go out and do what you please
You will wake up the midnight hunters

I made deals with them
Years ago that we can live here
Within the compound of this house
You have to stay for a long time”

But you left us
We thought you had abandoned our lives
So we made noises and lights blinking
In the nights to show the neighbours”

It is better to stay behind the scene
It is much better to stay alive.........
You have to live within the limitations
I guess we all are in this circumstance
