death is easy to forget

No eye for an eye
What we will see?
The other families will cry
Knowing the fate will fall
The death will not bring back a life
So it is better let them live
In prison for a number of years
A second chance for the young lives
They may not know the consequences
Until death stares in their eyes
Though the grieving party will demand
The full payback of a life
But if they sit down and think rationally
The other party will suffer the familiar fate
The parents will cry
Knowing the children will be gone
Hanging by the rope

It is better to move on
Count the loss remember the good memories
Though pain will linger in the mind
In years it will soothe the pain
Let the young live and learn
Let them remember the pain
Death is easy to forget
