The toxic
leaders
They bring bad
name to the nation
They only want
wealth for themselves
They aren’t
interested in the welfare of the people
They will plot
and undermine
Every possible
way to enrich themselves
They do not care
the outcome
They want to
enjoy the best
But God is
listening
To the prayers
called
It is finally
happened
They are thrown
out to the streets
They do not
repent
As sinners they
still harbour hope
Of going back to
the old
Plotting wealth
for their own
But the wagon
train derailed
They can wait
but none will arrive
They have seen
the writing on the wall
They are afraid of
their lives
The toxic
leaders
The long arm of the
law will reach them
They can hide
but it will not be for long
They will sing
shamefully in Bamboo River
