The law is blind
It has no way to find justice
By the book of law it stays
The cold fact of its existence
It is the judge
He has the eyes and ears
The compassion in his being
The fear of God the guiding light
But it is happening?
It depends on a person's value
In the eyes of a judge
It will be the balancing act
If it is a poor person
A judge will not show mercy
The book of law will be thrown at him
Because the poor man can't fight back
Because the law is blind
It is a judge who has to decide
The compassion must be ingrained
Let the punishment be merciful
