The puppies are cuties
Many will want to adopt
When they are small
Even the children will cry for them
As long as they stay as puppies
They will not have to suffer in pain
With homes surrounding by young children
The puppies are well fed and taken care
As the months move ahead
The puppies will change in appearance
Slowly the adults will have second thought
Many will be thrown out in the markets or backlanes
The dogs will become strays
Scavenging for food and sleeping in shelters
Nobody will pay a second look
Unless some kind souls will feed them
