You spend your youth
To society and country
When the dawn has arrived
You are just plainly forgotten
The homeless on the streets
The forgotten ones society forgets
Leaving them all alone
Begging for crumbs surviving for a day
Some say don't give them alms
They are the ones never plan to live
The squandered their youth, money earned
For their self indulgences
We mustn't forget
It is still a test of faith
Of helping a needy alms
You may never know what God plan is
Every day a test will come our way
Learn to do it on your own
Don't listen to others when it is your turn
It is where you wil decide
The test of faith of God ways
The homeless we see
The wrong decisions made
The age old misery
Begging for alms to live a day
For tomorrow is hard to say
