The day of life
The sun and the moon
The stars twinkling bright
Counting the years
It comes to pass so soon
The babies grow
In years they mature and fly
Away from the nests
The comforts for a change of new
The matured sigh
At one time they think they have the time
Postponing things or acquiring skills
Assets and wealth trying hard to find
Yet the time clicking away
Waiting for nobody but its own
The day of life
Singing it let regrets stay behind
