The evening light fall
On the dirty hard sand coast line
Of Tanjung Aru
The brilliant sunset
Blossoming colourful lights
Bursting into the evening sky
Mesmerizing the eyes
The hawkers' stalls
Stuffy; smell of stale dirty aroma
As the drains clogged up with black polluted water
Yet the hawkers just continue to drum up sales
They don't care they want business
There adults and children swim
On the dirty sea water coasting the shore
Waving ripples rushing to the coastline
As they go playing in the water
Forgetting about the pollutants flowing
Out from the dirty clogged drainage
Looking to the South China Sea
The waving sunset bursting out its flames
Catering to the people....families, lovers and loners
Of God's creations telling us there is always hope
When the darkness falls, light will shine again
