the moonlight bay 3

The rumors fly
As people return from the city
They tell many versions
On the patios, cafes, lounges

The Moonlight Bay
The lights all turn on
The housing estate bath with yellow glow
In the dark night of a season

The internet buzzing with activities
Many supporters load into the world of space
The recordings of the events
The police charging and people running

It makes the way
The people realize for change
This can't be going on
They all silently agree

On the beach there is a confrontation
The guitar-man and the gang members
Prying on the loving couples or lonely people
They will strike when it is dark or right opportunity

Hey guys! You are waiting for me?
I heard you want to dish me to the fire
Here I am right behind your back....”
The gang members slowly turn to face

They see a face
A hand of claws appear
They can't make out what is he
They run to the sea

“Do you see that?
He isn't human I tell you!
He is an alien or something
You guys must have seen him!”

“We saw nobody
We saw you run away
So we chase after you
We don't know what it is about”

The gang members panting on the beach
Now every one stares at the dark shadow
“Is that the one approaching us?”
“I don't know what to say”

The guitar-man approaches them
In the light from the Moonlight Bay
The soft breezes keep blowing
The moon shines brightly.......

“Why you run away?
You have seen a ghost or something?
I know what you want
Now I am here what you say?”

Nobody moves
They stare at the shadow
The image slowly appears
“I am human you know”

The raiding party crosses his path
They meet on the beach facing the gang
“What are these guys doing here?
We are looking for you.......”

“You want these guys?
They are all yours to take
I don't know why they run away
Maybe you guys coming for them?”

“They are the culprits
Causing harm and robberies
Late at night on the beach
Of couples who are careless...”

The guitar-man walks away
“They are yours to take
I have my errands to run
You take them make them pay”

“Who is he?”
“Maybe a good guy
Look he is gone”
“Where does he go?”

They take the gang members
Walk them back to the road
The guy in the car watches them
He hides he doesn't want them to know

The house-owners on Moonlight Bay
They watch prime time news on the demonstrations
They see the yellow marching on orderly manner
With police eager to charge at the innocents

Millions watch it
When the police finally charge
They swarm the people
With tear gases and water cannons

“Are they crazy?
These police officers?”
“No son the police want order
They can't take indiscipline”

“But dad the people have no weapons
They march for a cause to be free
The fair deals and equality by the government
We elect them aren't we dad?”

“True we did
You know sometimes power corrupts
You can say it has with these leaders
The police just the tools of many”

“We can change the government
Through the ballot boxes.......
Then we can change the police
To understand their roles better”

The yellow flags lining up the roads
The night of yellow color spreading every where
The police seeing red with the marchers
They charge at them again

The foreign TV crews filming it
The news footage will be in the news
Of democracy rights under threats
Of leaders they forget their roles

The guitar-man doesn't bother
He has enough on his plate in a night
Though he hopes the government wakes up
Enough of lopsided services to the people

He sits on the rocks
Listening to the waves at night
“Hello handsome we don't meet
Though how much I try to reach you”
