once we didn't see our colours

Malaysia my home
The core values put aside
The Constitution amended hundreds of times
Putting race above nation

Once we didn't see our colours
Once we didn't see about religion differences
Once we enjoyed our company
Of many colours poking fun with it

Where has it all gone?
Blame it on Bee Anne
The rule of fear and divide
The brand learned from Colonial lords

Our forefathers made it right
The Constitution as our guide
Bee Anne made hundreds of amendments
Until the colours can't paint it bright

Malaysia my home
We as the moderates will make her roll
The bright light and shine
The umbrella shielding us from rain and sun

Let the change begin
We are the ones who will build bridges
It has never gone away in our minds
The community of many races and many religious faiths
