The
floods water
The
children will dive
It's
the time to be free
Playing
in the floods
Though
safety issues are highlighted
Some
parents will just forget
Old
habits die hard it is said
The
children will take the free dip
Some
enterprising ones
They
will row a boat for rides
Along
the flooding areas
Rowing
the boat
Adults
will talk about water born diseases
The
contaminated water and its effects
But
the children they will just ignore and jump in
The
water like a magnet throwing them a challenge
Of
course some children drown
When
the current is too strong to navigate
By
then there is noting the children could do
They
know they will not make it to the higher ground
The
floods will cause tragedy
It
is always the story will be told
Somehow
as if there is the evil one
Challenging
the mind to take a dive
