Now the cat is feeling good
He forgets about me
Saving his life
He nearly dies
Two weeks ago
He couldn't walk or eat
With fleas on his neck and face
I didn't see him for 10 days
He disappeared
Hiding in somebody's house
He was left alone to feed himself
He nearly couldn't make it
Now he is quite well
He begins to disappear
He forgets how he was
How he was mistreated
I still tell him
He shouldn't go out again
The fleas will get him
He will not recover completely
He seems to understand
Lowering his head tingling his ears
When I walk away from him
He will get up and disappear
The Persian cat
He wants to move about
Hopping to neighbors' homes
Until time for him to return
