let the manifesto breathe into life

The master of the game
He throws his herring
He lets you play instead
He will smile his way

The political manifestos are worthless
Never mind the time and days crafted on it
When a party gets the mandate to rule
Its leaders will try to evade the issues

So, the voters are the fools
Believing the manifestos can be fulfilled
The master of the game
He makes his stand on his day

The promises can be fulfilled
Only the master of the game will try
He wants to do his way instead
But he finds he can’t cut it this way

Get the easy ones off the pages
It can be done quickly
It doesn’t have to gather dust
Like the bad laws

The master of the game
He wants to play by his rule
He forgets he is in the coalition
It isn’t like before in his first taste of power

It is too early to tell
PH has a full term of 5 years to conclude
The voters will wait and watch the scenes
Let the manifesto breathe into life
