We may not see them
Real or imagine in our minds
Once we are caught we wonder why
Sometimes we wonder alone
The police have our photographs
Even the latest ones in our lives
Without our permission so to speak
Now with CCTV hanging up high
The man-made spies in the open
Capturing images within seconds
Crimes should be reduced but it doesn't
Even in China now
Face recognition a must
With her largest pool of CCTV
No crimes can escape
We spies in our lives
We know it is always there
Even Singaporeans know
Living in the controlled city state
Like it or not
We have no say but to comply
Living in our lives
We can't be totally free
