when our time is up

When our time is up

We don't have to play again

Trying to score of relevancy

We should be living in our sunset years

There are many who can't do it

They will have the fear to lose

Suddenly they find they aren't relevant

They don't have the power to move

In the ancient times

They would sit in the gardens

Staring at the fields or the sky

Counting the stars trying to stay alert

In the current world

They may spend their times

Surfing all over the internet

Learning or trying new skills

Socialize in community projects

Walking in the parks looking at the greens

When our time is up

Leaving it with grace knowing we play our roles
