I remembered in my kampong days
Discussing in house compound
An off duty policeman came
Wanted to catch us for illegal assembly
Saying it was more than 3
Argued with him he wanted to send me to lock up
Only the village head intervened I was free
The ills of the nation
We will see it many
Until we change the government
Then we will see
The lies and deception
Billions lost to cronies
Hatched up in tidying legality
For now we know
We aren't fools any more
