Where is the glory?
You seek to find in this world
You try hard to get it on
Then you find there are others
They will try to put you down
They don't want you to realize your dream
They want you to be like them
Watching the sunset of the time
You try to get free
You try to work it on your own
You know you can do it
Yet you feel the let down
Of political lies and greed
You find you aren't interested
Playing the game with this
Where is the glory?
You ask yourself many times
In the waking hours of the day
You see the fallen
They don't follow the pattern
The instigators will come
In many forms to thwart your dream
They don't want you to get the glory
They want you to be like them
Yet change will come
You seek your glory in time
You know it isn't easy
You will try to make the day
