the aggression 1

He woke before dawn
He rubbed his eyes gave a big yawn
He was damp with sweat
The humid weather yesterday night

He drew open the curtains
He saw faint light on the field
He turned his eyes left and right
He saw only the twisted lines

He got up walked to the windows
A lonely shadow staring into the night sky
The dark clouds welcoming him......
He saw black dressed guys running

Further ahead he saw the trucks
Many came driving into the night
“What is happening here?”
He checked his watch....

Of all the days his watch battery died
He couldn't know the exact time.....
He stood by the window watching
Then soldiers came charging into the field

He watched the action
From his distance he could imagine
Chasing after a mock up exercise?
For he had no idea what was happening

The machine guns rat a tat
Shooting at objects the soldiers imagined
The sound woke up the sleeping residents
Lights came flooding the night

The black dressed guys ran
Away from the lights and hid
The soldiers advance with machine guns
For the quiet turned deadly in the night

The man walked to his drawer
He searched for his binocular
About 3 minutes he found it
He ran to the window........

He trained his focus
On the group of black dressed guys
They wore his party insignia
Yet he couldn't make out their faces

He used his binocular to focus
Every face he could take a peep
No one he could identify.....
“Who are these people?”

The soldiers moved in single file
The commanding officer gave orders to halt
The soldier laid down on the field
The marksmen came running towards them

“You think you guys can take them down?”
“Let the bullets do the talking..................
We can't guarantee of our marksmanship
We will shoot according to our skills...”

The marksmen moved away
Crawling slowly to their positions
Now aiming at their rifles range
Where they thought the enemies could be hiding

The man in the window saw them
He looked at the black dressed guys
They better moved away quickly
These sharpshooters weren't playing

Then his cell phone rung
“Commander are you there?
This is Lt Som Som of 8th brigade
We need help now!”

“The 8th brigade should be in the North
They shouldn't be coming down to the South
Who are you guys?”
“We were asked to come to the South”

“I repeat Commander
We need help quickly
The army is chasing us
We are at our wits end”

The Commander took a deep breath
“You see the highrise chimney?
Run there now with your men
Turn left into a small alley.....

I will be waiting there
The soldiers will not find you
You must hurry before the marksmen shoot”
“Yes Commander and out!”

The black dressed guys ran
They found the chimney and turned left
The Commander waiting for them
As he unlocked the underground tunnel

“I am Lt Som Som
These are my soldiers
Somebody fed the enemies
I lost about 20 guys here”

They moved in quickly
The Commander closed the door
Then he switched on the lights
“I am the Commander”

“There are enemies in our ranks
We hardly could carry out our tasks
The soldiers were waiting for us
We were caught right on the spot”

“I have to find out Lt
Now make yourself at home
There are hot drinks and biscuits
Then go right ahead for another entrance

It will take you to the other side of town
You walk for about 2 km before you reach the gate
Push it opens from the inside and make your way home
There is a car for your escape...”

“Thank you Commander
We have to go and find our way home
You don't remember to find the mole
Our campaigns are at stake Sir”

The Commander closed the door
He felt chilled to his bone
A traitor in his organization?
It must be somebody in his inner circle

He walked up the steps
He heard the soldiers talking
He looked at them then he walked away
Mindful of his steps climbing to his house

He lived here most of his time
He let the 2nd in command running the show
Now there were people trying to sabotage his plan
He hopped upwards to his house

He stood by the window
Watching the soldiers
Some picking up dead comrades
Others studying the night
