The small girl
Sits alone watching TV
The cartoons keeping her occupied
As she tosses with her blanket
At times she imagines
The characters she wants
On the cartoon shows
Jumping high and smile
The adventures they go
She stops to watch
In her own mind
She listens playing with her blanket
When time to go
She will pick a fight
She will cry like children do
