the old songs

The advance of time
The interior villages will transform
Into conformity of government laws
The old customary rites and believes go underground

Some of those rituals
It should be incorporated to the new world
Like sharing of foods, bodies and friendships
What jealousies when women in control?

The advance of modern civilizations
The new methods and ways of doing it
The interior villagers will adopt and change
Leaving behind the old traditions

But with new laws and punishments
The old traditions will not be spoken
It will be free love without marriage
Reinventing it as today's 'modern partners'

The hungry tourists arrive
Knocking at the doors
The smoking vehicles climbing up hills
The view of Nature and her beauty

There will be change
The interaction of locals and tourists
In time ideas change, traditions die
Leaving the old singing the old songs
