so many locked gates

So many locked gates
The keys on the open field
The light rays shine on it
The sparkling bright eyes see

You think you have the freedom
No police to chase you away
The locked gates look inviting
You can't climb in

The barbed wires surrounding it
It tells the story of a police state
The laws pasted on the walls
The gates locked nothing to see

You hear the barking dogs
The menacing dogs snarling at you
You whistle a tune or two
You can't fool the animal

You walk away
Feeling the blue
It is the short cut of freedom
Now it is gated and controlled
