once a crook

Once a crook
He never say it straight
There is the caution
The history of his time

No doubt everyone knows
Second chances should walk
The back lanes to the front rows
Telling it is the honest change

The public are worried
The play of words to the fore
Hit the balls but nothing landed
Is that the change or an illusion?

I am no crook”
The doors are locked
The gate are barred
No questions should be asked

Leaving us to worry
The changing patterns
The core issues no change
Unless it is disclosed to the public
