the bad in the mind

The wolf howls in the city of lights
The traffic jam with motor vehicles
Every brand on display on the road
The drivers, male or female, look impatient
Looking at the traffic light of red
On the night of partying and lovers haunt
A time to forget about work and grievances
They get a shock listening to the howling
This isn't the jungle they say to themselves
This is the city of people and vehicles
Yet they search with their eyes
They know the score once bitten
The soul will be gone the body changes
Into the wolf running in secret shadow
Hunting for preys and breed...?

The drivers look ahead and around
Everything seems familiar in their eyes
Maybe they hear the wrong sound
The eyes can play trick the minds just imagine
The ears pick up the sound...the howling
They feel the shivering cold suddenly comes in

The traffic light turns green
They press the pedal and drive away
They don't look back there is no reason
In their minds they think of the bad
The eyes don't see a thing but the minds say

The music blast away on the pavement
Howling the sound of a wolf in the night
Maybe it is real just to make a decoy
Of a time when the mind isn't feeling it
The woman dancing away
As if to celebrate the creature returning
Of a night everyone wants to escape
