when age falls on us

When age falls on us
We will see things differently
We will not take chances
The stamina has run its course

If we ask the retirees
They will say many things to do
Too much time on their hands
Yet many will become doting grandparents

What they want to do
They will not have time
Running after grandchildren
They will get tired quickly

But they are others
Thinking of the young age
They think the mind can run
Like they use to do then

Sadly we all know
When age falls on us
We have to stay healthy
Right to the end
