The light shines
In cloudy sky
It tells us something
We will be getting
on
The time we have in
our lives
We mustn’t spoil it
unnecessary
Doing something
unprofitable
It will bring tears
to our eyes
When we have
nothing left
We make our
plunders
On our lives when
we were able
On the streets of
jobs and businesses
We don’t save; we
don’t make the right moves
We think we have
the time to do
Until we see the darkness
coming at us
In the naked vision
we see ourselves
Begging on the streets
for alms
We make the wrong
decisions
We land ourselves
on the alleys
And the time passes
us by
The light shines
Telling us once
again
Change it for the
better
Do not feel afraid
to see changes
It will make living
much easier
Maybe get on a
firmer footing
Tweak some changes
to forge ahead
Do not feel regrets
of the past memories
It will hold on as posts
to remind us
We can’t make
mistakes all over again
The darkness will
take us away
So, make the shine
brightly in our lives
Small steps better
living
