It never dulls the mind

Every day many stories to tell

Ordinary lives or politicians

Along the 5 foot way

The beggars too have their say

Eyes of sadness empty bowls to fill

“Will you spare us a dollar or two?”

Ordinary people work hard for money

Sometimes they play lotteries hoping to get rich

It is said it isn't easy to strike it

Yet people still try their luck anyway

The politicians some good some bad

Some have no principles but find ways to get rich

If they are on top of the pile

The doors are always open for them to see

See the life of spices

Sometimes good sometimes bad
