it is the classic tale

You say you love me
Say it to the wind and the stars
Let the sound hike up the mind
The imagination what lies for the eyes
It is the classic tale of the fallen
Believing everything in the word
Until the reality of dreams bite in
The sorrowful tales of mistrust and lies

Still it is happening today
The fallen sickness of Romeo and Juliet
Death swallows them into dust
If only the lovers stop and think
Love is in the mind of romance
It doesn’t say it will last forever
There will be the gaps of the life
When things don’t match up in time
You hear it say often
You say you love me
You say you love me
But why the fallen pieces in the mind?

The paradise the romantics build
The castles in the air; on the ground
Believing it will last a life time
The aging process will come to light
Time of wear and tear in romance
Something may not click again
Age of time will pull into different ways
Where do we go from then?
Yet we hear it say often
You say you love me
You say you stay through high and low
Why then the fallen pieces in the mind?

We are the chess players on the board
We change our roles and characters every time
We don’t see it in our eyes
Outsiders will judge
Yet we keep saying
We will say we love you
Till the end of the time
Until we turn into dust
Return to the Earth
Leaving our footprints behind
Let the whisper talk of tales
“You say you love me”

And the process will repeat
All over in the generations to come
But don’t fall for the Romeo and Juliet sad tale
It makes no winners but losers to the sad episode
Of a life meant to cherish and enjoy and dream
And chase the romantic illusions of paradise of love

It is more than words
To carry on living to make love alive
It isn’t enough to say “I love you”
Everything will be fine and jolly
It needs work to make it last
The basic needs must be realized
Before everything can bridge into one
Living in the realm of bliss

You say you love me
Work on it and make it last
It can easily turn into dust
The wind will blow it away
Like the fallen leaves waving goodbye
Wither and feel unloved dropping to the ground
Slowly it becomes a part of the patterns
Loitering around until it disappears completely
