Lies in our lives
We will say get it
away
We don’t see the
harm it causes
We want our good
feeling
We hear it often
How the politicians
will say
When these
politicians play on it
The voters should
stay alert in their minds
Then there is the
white lie
We may think it is
harmless
We use to crack on
it
Like the school report
cards
Lies flow everyday
Even reading news
report
We will find
elements of fake news
It tries to run racial
tension
As if we don’t have
it in our homes
When we have to
deal with siblings lies
They will come up
with all kind of excuses
Just to ask for
monies for their needs
We can’t stop lies
The politicians
master the craft
They can say
straight without blinking eyes
They will not hear
our gossips in the coffee shops
Here is one of the
best lies
“If I send him back
He will die on his home
soil
When his plane
touches ground”
We hear it often
About lies in our
lives
We have lived
through with it
But sadly, we can’t
stop lies
