the old songs

The old songs
In the air once again
The old fox wields magic
In his tail he wags

Everything falls in
He makes many U-turns
Even his members flow
Is this way forward?

He thinks of his race
Once more he has forgotten
The silence spreads quietly
He shouldn’t forget what he said

The nation isn’t one race battle
It is the united of colours to stand in unity
Spread the loads and wisdom
It isn’t about supremacy but of equality

Now we listen to the old songs
Though it brings memories of the good and bad
We aren’t going back to his old ways
We want to move forward

Let the Renaissance Man
He suffered on his trials and prison
He may make a better prime minister
Knowing he went down suffering in disgrace
