The rain tree stands
Majestically for all to see
Democracy must live
For the people and country
It is in our minds and souls
Nobody can torch or destroy
For what we see and read
No vandalism can break our spirits
There are people working for the devils
Of money to vandalize signs and properties
The cheap thrills hitting the streets
We know who will do it
The signs of phoenix arising
It will be there for all to see
The Court of Appeal has ruled
The House Speaker Siva can engage his lawyers
And the restraining order put aside
I guess Albino is buying time
Using the police and judiciary to delay
Albino knows it is wrong under the law
Yet it stubbornly spinning out of control
The power and wealth can't let go
The rain tree
It reminds the people
Stay united and focus
For democracy will survive
