the sky of white and blue

to the highway
Driving
the free flow
The
Christian cemetery

long queue of cars on the side road
Causing
slow traffic flow
Bearable
under the hot sun
Under
the shades
The
florists selling flowers
Banners
of church
Requesting
for building funds
Rela
members directing traffic
Some
idiot drivers still block the narrow road
Knowing
it will cause the traffic flow
But
these drivers seem to forget
The
All Souls Day
Falls
on a sunny Sunday
The
hot rays of the sun
The
wind stay quiet
The
colourful mixture
Of
flowers on the graves
The
family prayers for the departed souls
The
remembrance for the dear ones gone
The
candles light up
Guiding
the light to the darkness
Of
the day the family members pray
Remembering
those years long ago
On
this day
Many
prayers offered freely
The
day of remembrance
The
walk of our lives
