when we age in our eyes

When we age in our lives
We don't see much of the future
We are throwing back to the past
Where we lived and imprinted our footprints

Maybe the aging people
The focus can't reach the stars
They are reflecting back to find ways
Of getting it back when they were young

Yet they will realize
The pathways have gone in their eyes
It is just the memory of the good and bad times
Circling in their minds

They want to feel the closeness of it
The way they were living like a band of vagabond
Going from one place to another destination
Before they are tied down to family roots

When we age in our eyes
The mirror reflects the sign of a cage
The old bones can't take it in long distance
The invincible cage in the mirror of our minds

But live on the aging lives will say
Maybe regrets a few a good times many
The throwback to the long forgotten memories
Standing at the circle of life of sweet Lord and paradise
