God always forgives

If we ask Him to hear our pleading

God never stays away

We know Him to be there

Yet men in power

They go crazy with it

They kill to keep their seats

Showing compassion

way back down the ladder

Men in power

They cultivate fear

The rules of race and religion

The darkness falls on the chair

They don't see it

They keep denying

Even when they read

The Holy Books in their hands

Men in power

They think they don't fall

But they do in time

In managing affairs

Know that taking lives

In whatever degree or law

It is a sin on the hands which move it

Each will be called to account

Taking a life without due compassion
