the thick smoke screen

The life in the sky
It seems all gone too soon
We don't see the golden lights
We see only thick smog screen

The forest fires in Indonesia
it is spinning out of control
Calling for help take ages
What now we have?

On the ground we choke
The smoke filled air floating away
Assisted by the wind
We are banned in open fields

The schools are close
The parents feel out of place
The normal routines tune upside down
Suddenly they have to stay at homes

The health effects unaccountable
People who are sick may go early
The haze chokes them slowly
Laying the micro dust in the bodies

And we have our government talking
For years it has been going on
Yet nothing concrete comes
We're still suffering since 1997
