We dream
The days with joy and smile
Yet in reality we realize
We have businesses never done
Changing landscape
In politics we craze
Let a new man taking charge
And see where he leads
Enough of the plots and twists
Half truths and half past six
People have gone wiser in years
Only the BN thinks we are children
Like the late Joshua Benjamin Jeyaratnam
Affectionately called JBJ of Singapore
A leaf one can learn from him
Nobody can take away his fighting spirit
And his brain to fight for justice for all
So here we go on
Pushing for the draconian laws in the dustbin
Forever bury it and never see the light of day
ISA and other laws impede in democracy
It mustn’t be allowed to choke our lives
It isn’t what we voted for our representatives
Forming government to prison us away
Without trial and reasonable time to defend
No Sir we want rights
To defend for our belief
Not a law to silent us
Without bringing a charge at all
For RPK and other detainees
We will write until they are released
Peaceful protests and vigils……
In our own ways we will make that difference!
