the drum beat of fear

Swine fever fear spread
Amongst the crowd
Lining up daily in their lives
You watch them
Bus stops, taxi stands
Mamak stalls and kopitiam

The drumbeat of fear
Is it death stalking?
It spares nobody
Swine fever makes us cry
Silently in our times

Go to open fields
Botanic Gardens
Breathe the fresh air
The nature cures abundance

Yet many are afraid
They go hiding under shades
This is where the demons hide
Playing tricks of deathly games

Swine fever
As others came before
Telling the people
Don't go showing no neighbourliness
This is a lesson we always forget
