the village life 8

village life

The village life

Yellow road with side drains on the road

When it rains the muddy water flow

When it is hot the dust flying into homes

The entrance lies the tall fat trees

In the day with the sun rays bloom

There is nothing evil in the eyes

It is as natural as the light flowing

Life is simple in the village

The villagers cycle in and out

The modern vehicles the motorbikes

Revving in the day and at night

The elder walks to his farm

Under the strong sun beam

The morning wishes him well

The farm of his earning capacity

The river still flows remembering none

The history of the bones burying deep in the water

The farmer only wishes he doesn't live to see it again

As he ploughs his hoe into the soft farming ground

The young children going to schools

Some by parents on bicycles or by buses

Some wave to the farmer as they walk by

As the parents quickly ushering them along

The village stays calm in the afternoon sun

The shadows of light playing amongst trees

The farmer takes a break and sits under the big tree

Taking his water container he sips his drink

What story to tell for his young audience?

He lives alone remembering his own kid stories

Now he is sharing with his neighbours' kids

Of the unnatural evil capturing souls at night
